This site is for the purpose of encouraging a peaceful citizen’s arrest of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Caroline Spelman, for crimes against wildlife conservation, animal welfare and fraud all relating to the up-coming badger cull.
The intention of repeated attempts to arrest the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has the potential of the following.
- To remind people that The badger cull is not based on scientific evidence and is therefore not necessary but also detrimental in the aims of combating the issue of Bovine TB.
Caroline Must Face Justice!!
- To show Mrs Spelman that, despite her efforts she cannot implement an illegal cull which does not prove effective, humane, cost effective, or science led.
- To put pressure on the authorities of the United Kingdom she travels through to prosecute her for the crimes listed, or to deliver her for prosecution to the Crown Court.
- To show those with authority in the public that abuse of their position for financial gain of those associated with them in the private sector (in this case Industrial agriculture, through the use of subsidies) is legally classified as fraud and will not be tolerated.
- To discourage other people from repeating these crimes.
- To educate the public in the knowledge that the badger cull has little to do with controlling bovine TB but instead is a scheme for which those responsible for raising animals in poor conditions continue to receive subsidies for their irresponsibility.
